S. Korea, DPRK Hold Working Level Cooperation Talks
Delegates from South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), who are attending the ongoing Fourth Inter-Korea Economic Cooperation meeting, held a working level talks Thursday in Seoul to discuss ways to push forward joint projects.

During the talks, South Korea urged for a definitive timetable on connecting the cross-border Gyeongui and Donghae railway lines and the ground breaking date for Kaesong Industrial Complex, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported.
The South Korean delegation also suggests that surveys be conducted along the Imjin River to prevent floods before the monsoon season and codify a system for handling cross-border tradeand commerce, including disputes settlements.
The DPRK delegation said that a closer cooperation between the two sides is needed and the connection of the Gyeongui railroad should coincide with that of the Donghae line.
The Donghae railway, which will link the railways along the east coast of the Korean Peninsula, can be used to ferry tourists from South Korea to the DPRK's Mount Gumgang resort.
The DPRK delegation, led by Park Chang Ryon, chairman of the Inter-Korean economic cooperation promotion committee, arrived in Seoul Monday afternoon and will leave on Friday morning.
