China Satisfied with Relations with Tanzania: CPPCC Chairman
Li Ruihuan, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said in Dar es Salaam Monday his country is satisfied with the relations with Tanzania.
Li Ruihuan, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said in Dar es Salaam Monday his country is satisfied with the relations with Tanzania.
"We are satisfied with the long-standing smooth relationship between the two countries," said Li while meeting with Tanzanian Prime Minister Fredeick Sumaye.
During the meeting, Li told Sumaye that many achievements have been made in the area of economic cooperation between the two countries, and there are still great potentials for further cooperation.
The Chinese government will continue encouraging Chinese companies to come to Tanzania for cooperation, Li added.
Sumaye said that great changes have taken place in China duringthe past 10 years, and China has many experiences of development, which are worthy for Tanzania to learn from.
Li arrived here on Monday afternoon for an official goodwill visit, the first leg of his African tour which will also bring himto Namibia and Zambia.
