CPPCC Willing to Strengthen Ties with Tanzanian Parliament: Li
Li Ruihuan, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said in Dar es Salaam Monday that the CPPCC is willing to strengthen ties with the Tanzanian National Assembly.
Li Ruihuan, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said in Dar es Salaam Monday that the CPPCC is willing to strengthen ties with the Tanzanian National Assembly.
"We are willing to increase exchange of visits with the Tanzanian National Assembly and make active contribution to enhancing the friendly and cooperative relations between China andTanzania," said Li while meeting with Speaker of Tanzanian National Assembly Pius Msekwa.
China always cherishes the friendship with Tanzania, Li added.
During the meeting, Msekwa expressed the hope that the exchanges of views between the two sides would be further strengthened.
Li arrived here on Monday afternoon for an official goodwill visit, the first leg of his African tour which will also bring himto Namibia and Zambia.
