Li Ruihuan Arrives in Tanzania for Official Visit
Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee Li Ruihuan arrived in Dar es Salaam Sunday afternoon for a four-day official visit.

Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee Li Ruihuan arrived in Dar es Salaam Sunday afternoon for a four-day official visit.
Li was greeted at the airport by Tanzanian Prime Minister Fredrick Tluway Sumaye, Speaker of the National Assembly Pius Msekwa and other senior officials.
In a written speech delivered at airport, Li said that China and Tanzania enjoy a long history of close friendship.
Thanks to the keen interest and support of leaders of both countries, the traditional Sino-Tanzanian friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation have been continuously deepened over the past decades, he said.
Li said during his visit, he will have in-depth exchanges of views with leaders of Tanzania on bilateral relations and issues of common concern. He expressed the belief that his visit will yield positive results in deepening friendship and expanding mutual cooperation.
It is the first leg of Li's three-nation tour to Africa. He will also visit Namibia and Zambia.
