US President George W. Bush said Friday that "all options are on the table" for the United States to deal with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

But he said he still hopes the nuclear issue can be resolved diplomatically.

"I spoke to (Chinese President) Jiang Zemin today about this very subject, and I will continue working diplomatically to convince (DPRK leader) Kim Jong Il that he will be further isolated if he continues to develop a nuclear program," Bush said before a ceremony to swear in new Treasury Secretary John Snow.
