Vice-premier Li Lanqing Begins Visit to South Africa

Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing arrived in Johannesburg Sunday to begin his visit to South Africa.

Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing arrived in Johannesburg Sunday to begin his visit to South Africa.

In a written statement, Li Lanqing said South Africa is a very important country in African continent and plays an important role in promoting peace and development of the continent.

Upon the 5th anniversary of establishment of the bilateral relations, Li Lanqing hopes to improve friendship and mutual trust between the two countries through the visit and promote cooperation and development of the two countries.
