British MP Denounces US Belligerence over Iraq
Visiting British Labor member of parliament (MP) George Galloway Saturday afternoon impugned the US military pressure on Iraq, saying it has reached "Hitlerian levels," the Oriental radio reported.

After his talks with Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, Galloway told reporters that "we are in a very dangerous moment" and a peaceful solution to the Iraq crisis must be found.
"We reviewed the real dangers which currently exist in relation to the confrontation with Iraq. Dangers are not only for the peopleof Iraq, but for the people of the whole Middle East," he stressed.
In the meeting, he briefed Hariri on the anti-war movement whichis sweeping the Western countries, particularly in Britain.
The British lawmaker predicted that one million anti-Iraqi war demonstrators will be on the streets of London before Feb. 15.
Galloway arrived here Friday night to attend a demonstration in Beirut on Saturday that was initiated by a number of nongovernmental organizations, which declared Jan. 18 as an international day of solidarity with the Palestinian and Iraqi people.
People in more than 300 cities worldwide will reportedly take tothe streets on Saturday to protest a possible war on Iraq and show support for both the Iraqi and Palestinian people.
