Shao Jiayi Vows to Fight for Success in Bundesliga
Chinese midfielder Shao Jiayi, who will join German club TSV 1860 Munich on loan, pledged that his Bundesliga life will never be as miserable as national teammate Li Weifeng in English premier league side Everton.

Shao was announced in a press conference here on Tuesday that he has been officially loaned to 1860 Munich by his club Beijing Guo'an.

"I had a 10-day trial in Munich," the Chinese international said. "The team has known my ability and style of play and I have also known their style. I think I can win a regular place on the left side of the midfield."

He said that his move to Germany is very different from Li's. "Li Weifeng is an excellent player. Unfortunately, he chose a team which he knew nothing about. And the team also knew nothing about him."

Li, China's first-choice center back who joined Everton last summer, spent most of season on bench and never had a chance to prove himself. He has returned to his former club Shenzhen Ping'an.
