Chinese Midfielder Shao joins Munich 1860

Chinese international Shao Jiayi was confirmed on Monday to join German Bundesliga side TSV 1860 Munich, reports said in Beijing.

Chinese international Shao Jiayi was confirmed on Monday to join German Bundesliga side TSV 1860 Munich, reports said in Beijing.

The defender's club Beijing Guo'an has completed talks with their German counterparts this evening, a source from Guo'an said.

"Both sides have made concessions during the lengthy talks and Shao will sign the deal with his new club in a few days," he said.

The source said that the two clubs will sign the contract later today which will officially complete the talks about Shao's move.

It was reported that Guo'an, third placer of China's first division league last season, will hold a press conference on Tuesday to announce Shao's successful transfer.
