US President George W. Bush said on Tuesday that the United States has no intention to invade the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) despite a dispute between the two countries over Pyongyang's nuclear program.

"We have no aggressive intent, no argument with the North Korean people. We're interested in peace on the Korean Peninsula," Bush said in a speech in Chicago.

He said the United States will seek a peaceful and diplomatic solution to Pyongyang's nuclear program by working with countries in the region.
