Israeli army Apache helicopters flew over Gaza City Sunday night and launched rockets attacks on several targets in Gaza City, apparently in retaliation for the earlier suicide bombing attacks in Tel Aviv that killed 22 people and wounded more than 100 Israelis.
Local witnesses said that they saw and heard the buzz of three Apache helicopters flew over the western part of the city, and fired about 10-12 rockets at targets in the eastern part of the city.
A Palestinian public security spokesman said that two metal workshops were hit by eight rockets in the neighborhood of Zeitoon in the city, adding that the two factories were totally damaged.
The spokesman also said that two rockets hit a deserted house used by Palestinian security forces to hide in when the rockets of warplanes and Apaches were hitting their main headquarters.
Medical sources at Shiffa Hospital said that at least four Palestinians were lightly or moderately injured, and were treated at the hospital.
