China to Issue 36.8 billion yuan T-Bonds
China is to issue treasury bonds worth 36.8 billion yuan (US$ 4.4 billion) next week, the Ministry of Finance announced Friday.

China is to issue treasury bonds worth 36.8 billion yuan (US$ 4.4 billion) next week, the
Ministry of Finance
announced Friday.
This will be the 16th and last series of registered treasury bonds planned for this year. The T-bonds are two-year fixed rate bonds with an annual interest rate of 2.30 percent. The interest will be paid yearly.
According to the ministry, the proceeds of 11.3 billion yuan of the T-bonds are meant for social security funds.
With next week issuance, the ministry will issue a total 592.9 billion yuan worth of T-bonds, completing its plan for this year.
