The China Zhi Gong Party (China Public Interest Party), one of China's non-communist parties, began its 12th national congress in Beijing Tuesday.
The main tasks of the congress include deliberating the report of the party's 11th central committee, deliberating and adopting the revised party constitution and electing its 12th central committee.
Luo Haocai, executive chairman of the presidium, delivered the report on behalf of the party's 11th central committee. He said steadfastly support the leadership of the Communist Party of China(CPC) was the party's fundamental political principle.
The China Zhi Gong Party would maintain close ties with overseas Chinese and continue to help them contribute to China's development.
The CPC Central Committee sent a congratulatory message to the congress commending the party for its contribution to national development.
