Chinese Vice-Premier Meets US Guests

Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo met Tuesday with former US Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger, Governor of Washington Gary Locke and president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes Allan Mulally.

Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo met Tuesday with former US Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger, Governor of Washington Gary Locke and president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes Allan Mulally.

Wu expressed appreciation for the efforts they had made in promoting the healthy development of China-US relations, and hoped that they would continue to contribute in this respect, and invited more US enterprises to participate in China's economic construction.

He briefed the guests on the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and discussed China-US relations and issues of common concern.

The guests are here at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
