HK Deputies to 10th Chinese NPC Elected

Thirty-six deputies that will represent the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) to the10th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislative body, are elected Tuesday.

Thirty-six deputies that will represent the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) to the10th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislative body, are elected Tuesday.

The deputies were elected at the third plenary session of the Conference for Electing Deputies of the Hong Kong SAR to the 10th NPC.

Wang Rudeng, together with the 35 other deputies, will have their qualifications checked and approved by the NPC Standing Committee.
