Textile Export Tops US$50 Billion in First 10 Months
China has exported over 50 billion US dollars worth of clothes and textiles during the first 10 months of this year, 14 percent more than in the corresponding period of last year.

China's textile industry has benefited from WTO membership. President of the Textile Industry Association, Du Yuzhou says that a reasonable administrative structure and comparatively low labor cost are major factors for the industry's increasing competitiveness in the international market.
In addition, worldwide recognition of the quality of China's textiles bolsters the industry's continuous growth.
