FM Spokesman on Putin's Upcoming China Visit

Russian President Vladimir Putin's upcoming visit to China is very important and will deeply influence the future development of Sino-Russian relations, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Kong Quan said Tuesday at a routine press conference.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's upcoming visit to China is very important and will deeply influence the future development of Sino-Russian relations, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Kong Quan said Tuesday at a routine press conference.

Putin will pay a state visit to China from Dec. 1 to 3, at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Jiang and Vice-President Hu Jintao will hold meetings and talks with Putin during his three-day visit, said Kong, adding that the leaders will review the development of Sino-Russian relations in the past decade and draw a strategic plan for bilateral relations in the future.
