Chinese Vice Premier Meets DPRK Education Minister

Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing met with visiting Minister of Education Pyon Yong Rip of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Beijing on Tuesday afternoon.

Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing met with visiting Minister of Education Pyon Yong Rip of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Beijing on Tuesday afternoon.

Li welcomed Pyon Yong Rip and briefed him on the evolution of education in China. Li expressed his hope that China and the DPRK will continue to advance their traditional friendly bilateral relations through educational exchanges and cooperation.

Pyon Yong Rip is visiting China as the head of an educational delegation at the invitation of the Ministry of Education of China.
