The senior official meeting ofthe China-Africa Cooperation Forum will be held in Addis Ababa from Nov. 25 to 26.
The meeting, which is the first to be held in Africa, will evaluate the implementation of the documents adopted at the previous forum's ministerial conference held in Beijing in 2000, and also make preparations for the next ministerial conference to be held here in 2003.
Yang Wenchang, Chinese vice foreign minister, will attend the meeting with the participation of officials from more than ten African nations.
During the meeting, participants will also discuss the issue offurther cooperation between China and Africa, and the New Partnership for Africa's Development.
