Israeli Apache Helicopters Strike on Southern Gaza

Israeli attack Apache helicopters fired three rockets and used heavy machine guns at civilian targets in the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis after midnight Saturday, witnesses said.

Israeli attack Apache helicopters fired three rockets and used heavy machine guns at civilian targets in the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis after midnight Saturday, witnesses said.

They said two helicopters flew over the town and started firing rockets and heavy ammunition from the air at a building next to a Palestinian police station in the town.

They added the target is apparently a foundry in the town that was destroyed, saying they saw flames of fire and dust coming out from the targeted spot in the town.

There have been no reports of casualties so far.
