Chinese Swimmers Win Four Golds on First Day of World Cup Swimming

Chinese swimmers won four gold medals on the first day of the season-opening Rio de Janeiro World Cup short course swimming meet on Saturday.

Chinese swimmers won four gold medals on the first day of the season-opening Rio de Janeiro World Cup short course swimming meet on Saturday.

Asian Games champion Wu Peng snatched two gold medals in the men's 400m individual medley and 200m butterfly with winning timesof 4:12.72 and 1:56.65 respectively.

Pang Jiaying won the women's 200m freestyle title in a time of 1:59.05 while her teammate Zhou Yafei took the gold medal of women's 100m butterfly at 59.55 seconds.
