CPC Leaders to Meet Press Friday Morning

Leaders of the 16th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee are to meet the press Friday morning in Beijing, sources said Thursday.

Leaders of the 16th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee are to meet the press Friday morning in Beijing, sources said Thursday.

The leaders are to meet Chinese and overseas reporters covering the 16th CPC National Congress at about 11:00 a.m. Friday. The meeting is to be televised live to viewers at home and abroad.

The China Central Television Station (CCTV) will beam the meeting from 10:40 a.m. on Channel 1 to 12. The Central People's Broadcasting Station will live broadcast the event on Channel 1 to7. The China Radio International will cover the meeting in standard Chinese and English.

Meanwhile, the meeting will be covered real-time by www.xinhuanet.com, www.people.com.cn and www.china.com.cn.
