China-Africa Cooperation Forum to be Held in Ethiopia

Yang Wenchang, Chinese vice-foreign minister, will attend the senior officials' meeting of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum to be held in Ethiopia from Nov. 25to 26, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman announced Thursday.

Yang Wenchang, Chinese vice-foreign minister, will attend the senior officials' meeting of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum to be held in Ethiopia from Nov. 25to 26, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman announced Thursday.

Spokesman Kong Quan said senior officials from more than ten African nations will also attend the meeting to evaluate the implementation of the documents adopted at the previous Forum's ministerial conference held in Beijing in 2000.

During the November meeting, the first to be held in Africa, preparations will be made for the next ministerial conference, Kong said.
