10 Killed, 11 Injured in India-controlled Kashmir
At least 10 persons, including six militants and a security soldier, were killed and 11 injured in separate incidents in the India-controlled Kashmir, a police spokesman said Wednesday.

Militants set off two powerful Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) to target security forces at Lassana area of Surankote Wednesday morning, injuring seven persons including two police officials and a security soldier, the spokesman said.
He said that the first blast took place at 10:00 a.m. local time when an IED went off inside a parked vehicle as some securityvehicles were passing the road, injuring four civilians and a security soldier, besides damaging a bus and a security vehicle.
Another blast occurred at the same place when security officials were inspecting the scene, resulting in minor injuries to two police officials, the spokesman said.
Militants also fired some rounds from across a nearby river soon after the blast but no one was hurt.
The spokesman said two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces at Bandore Dewal in Mahore area of Udhampur district in Jammu region Wednesday.
A civilian and a security soldier were also injured in the encounter, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI).
Security forces gunned down two more militants in nearby ChiralShaji village Tuesday night, PTI said.
