The east China metropolis of Shanghai will be recruiting professionals at the Sino-Hong Kong Careers Expo to be held on Dec. 14-15 in Hong Kong.
The jobs include posts of corporate presidents or board chairmen.
A Shanghai-based human resources agency will fill the professional vacancies for Chinese mainland companies in cooperation with the Hong Kong Association of Enterprise Limited and Kanglin International Institution Limited.
Organizers of the event, to be held at the Hong Kong International Exhibition Center, said this is the first time a commercial head hunting activity will have been held.
State-backed Chinese job agencies have hired professionals in Hong Kong during the past several years.
Meanwhile, an unspecified number of Shanghai residents will go to Hong Kong looking for job opportunities.
