According to CNNIC, authoritative UETF for Internet technology standards in China has completed and will soon publish a multi-lingual domain name system to formally put an end to tests on the use of Chinese domain names.
Authoritative sources told that with the publication of international technology standards on the use of a multi-lingual domain name system a multi-lingual use of intra-domain names will be realized. Domain name users in various areas and countries can use their own languages as symbols of websites to put an end to a universal use of English domain names across the world.
But no way has yet been found to an effective equivalent collation and replacement of Chinese domain names in simplified, complicated forms. To help Chinese users out from a labyrinth of simplified-to-complicated Chinese domain names, CNNIC has in cooperation with ROK, Japan, China's Taiwan Province and other Chinese-using countries and regions found a solution to the problem of equivalent collation and transfer. When using a Chinese domain name a user will automatically find other simplified or complicated Chinese domain names in need.
It is reported presently in session in Shanghai is a ICAN meeting with the designated task ruling on technology standards of domain names as a large gathering of world renown first called in China.
