Chinese Powerlifter Sets New World Record in FESPIC Games

Chinese athletes Zuo Jue set a new world record in the powerlifting competition at the 8th Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled (FESPIC Games) here on Wednesday.

Chinese athletes Zuo Jue set a new world record in the powerlifting competition at the 8th Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled (FESPIC Games) here on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old from east China's Jiangsu Province lifted 126.5kilograms in the women's up to 67.5kg open class final here on Wednesday, which shattered the previous world mark of 126.0kg,setby Egyptian Heba Ahmewd at this year's world championships in August in Malaysia.
