Chinese President Leaves Mexico After APEC Meeting
Chinese President Jiang Zemin left Los Cabos Monday morning, after attending the 10th Economic Leaders' Meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Los Cabos, Mexico.
Chinese President Jiang Zemin left Los Cabos Monday morning, after attending the 10th Economic Leaders' Meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Los Cabos, Mexico.
On his way back to Beijing, Jiang will make a technical stop-over in San Francisco, the United States, and meet with mayor of the city Willie Brown.
During his stay in Los Cabos, Jiang delivered important speeches at the APEC sessions, and met with leaders of Mexico, Indonesia, Russia, the Republic of Korea and Japan.
Jiang arrived in Los Cabos by special plane on October 25, following a four-day visit to the US. He left Beijing on October 22 for his US visit and for the APEC sessions in Los Cabos.
