Armed Men Let 150 Out of Seized Moscow Theatre
An approximate 600 to 700 are staying stranded in the theatre after terrorists released or let slip a total 150. The gang spared children, women, aliens-a few Georgians among them, and Muslims, selecting them from among the ill-starred audience, Valeri Gribakin, city police chief of PR, said to newsmen.

The gang spared children, women, aliens-a few Georgians among them, and Muslims, selecting them from among the ill-starred audience, Valeri Gribakin, city police chief of PR, said to newsmen.
The gang which seized the Theatre Centre in Dubrovka last night to take the vast audience hostage is estimated at forty to fifty, of both sexes. "They certainly do not look Slav-men and women alike," said Mr. Gribakin.
The Federal Security Service vice-director leads an emergency HQ, which is trying hard to get into contact with the terrorists. Finish Chechen war! is their principal demand.
HQ officers will inform the press about the developments once every half an hour or forty minutes, announced Valeri Gribakin.
