Arafat Condemns Suicide-bombing Attack into Israel
Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat Monday afternoon condemned the car bombing attack carried out into northern Israel earlier in the day, which killed eight Israelis andwounded at least 40 others.

Arafat told reporters in the West Bank town of Ramallah that "as you know the decision of the Palestinian leadership is always against these operations that are carried out either against Palestinian or Israeli civilians.
The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) rejects such attacks against civilians, Arafat stressed.
Meanwhile, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, known as Saraya Al Quds, claimed responsibility for the blast, which took place at the Karkur Junction, near the town of Pardes Hannah.
Israeli Police said two suicide bombers drove a jeep alongside the bus as it was waiting at a bus stop.
