Vice Premier Li Welcomes Athletes back from Busan

Vice-Premier Li Lanqing met with the Chinese sports delegation returning from the 14th Asian Games on Wednesday in Beijing.

Vice-Premier Li Lanqing met with the Chinese sports delegation returning from the 14th Asian Games on Wednesday in Beijing.

Li Lanqing congratulated the delegates on their excellent performance in Busan. He said the delegation maintained China's advantage in sports in Asia and won honor for the country.

The vice-premier also said he was personally very happy to see so many young athletes perform well at the sports gathering.

During the Busan Asian Games, China won 308 medals, including 150 golds, topping the medal tally.
