China, France to Expand Aviation Cooperation

Airbus and a Chinese partner have recently signed a memorandum and an agreement on flight safety cooperation in order to strengthen aviation cooperation between the two sides.

Airbus and a Chinese partner have recently signed a memorandum and an agreement on flight safety cooperation in order to strengthen aviation cooperation between the two sides.

Under the agreement, the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) and Airbus plan to strengthen cooperationin maintenance practices, supervision training, and safety measureimplementation

The Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC) and Airbus signeda memo to upgrade the university's library. The two sides will also work together to enhance training courses.

Yang Guoqing, vice-minister of the CAAC said, China's aviation industry can enhance competitiveness by cooperating with Airbus.

Airbus China President Guy McLeod said in recent years, China has become the attractive growing region in the aviation industry thanks to its economic development.

Airbus entered China in 1985 and now has 182 aircraft serving here. It also invested 80 million US dollars to build a Customer Services Training and Support Center in the suburbs of Beijing. Four Chinese manufacturers are already involved in manufacturing Airbus parts.
