Death Toll from Blasts on Indonesian Island of Bali Rises to 150

Death toll from four explosions onIndonesia's tourist resort island of Bali rose to 150, most of them are foreigners, according to the Metro Television Sunday.

Death toll from four explosions onIndonesia's tourist resort island of Bali rose to 150, most of them are foreigners, according to the Metro Television here Sunday.

One of the powerful explosions totally destroyed the Sari Club in the downtown of Denpasar, causing a large number of casualties.Some 20 cars and seven motorcycles nearby the club were damaged during the blast.

Indonesian Police Chief General Da'i Bachtiar said that the series of the explosions were "terrorist act." He flied to Bali onSunday morning to head the investigation into the bombing.

However, the airports on the Bali island remain open to facilitate the rescue and investigation process.
