China outscored South Korea 3-1 to take the women's volleyball gold medal in the Asian Games Saturday evening.

China outscored South Korea 3-1 to take the women's volleyball gold medal in the Asian Games Saturday evening.

The Chinese women spikers won the finals 25-12, 25-16 and 22-25 and 25-19.

The bronze medal was taken by Japan who ranked third in the previous round-robin volleyball tournament.
