Chinese Pair Takes Women's K-2 500m Title of Asiad
Xu Linbei and Zhong Hongyan of Chinagrabbed the third canoeing gold medals for China on Saturday by wining the women's double Kayak 500 meters title in Asiad.

The Chinese pair finished the distance with 1:43.052, beating Sergeyeva Natalya and Uzhakhova Ellina of Kazakhstan by more than 2 seconds. Pishulina Nadejda and Moskaleva Antonina from Uzbekistan took the bronze medal with 1:26.634.
"I was very nervious before the competition began," said Xu Linbei, "but when we dashed out, I thought nothing but try to moveforward as hard as I can."
"I was really relaxed during the whole course, because I didn'tcare about my opponents' performance. If we did very well, we will be certain to win the title." said Xu.
Xu contributed their triumph to the cooperation between her andher teammate Zhong.
"We are good friends, I trust her and of course she trusts me as well. We cooperate very well. That makes us act like one personduring the competitions."
Zhong, who claimed the women's single kayak 500 meters title earlier this morning, will also take part in women's four Kayak event which is her third competition today.
