Chinese pair Hu Jia and Xu Hao proved China's strength in diving when they comfortably won the men's 10msynchronized platform gold medal at the 14th Asian Games Tuesday evening.

This is the second gold that Chinese divers collected at the Asian Games after world champions Wu Minxia and Guo Jingjing defeated injury and their rivals to win the women's 3m synchronized diving gold in the Tuesday morning, the first day of diving competition.

Hu and Xu collected 356.64 points from five dives, beating their nearest rivals Ri Jong-nam and Jo Chol-ryong of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea by more than 30 points.

The DPR Korean divers, who made little appearance in international competitions, had a total of 326.19 points.

Cho Kwan-hoon and Kwon Kyung-min of South Korea finished third at 311.70.

With the dive, they got a perfect 10 from the judge from DPR Korea for synchronization -- the only 10 of the evening.
