Chinese women buried Malaysia 108-53 with storming three-points at the Busan Asian Games basketball on Monday.
China, runners-up to Japan at the Bangkok Asian Games four years ago, made 23 of their 65 long-range attempts for their third straight win at the tournament.
Lowly Malaysia led 22-21 after the first quarter when China shot 8-for-19 from three-point line. However, Chinese sharp shooters dropped 11 three pointers in their 37-10 run in the second quarter to build a 58-32 lead at the half time.
Six teams are competing in the women's basketball with top four finishers from the round-robin preliminaries qualifying for the semifinals.
