US President to Deliver Speech on Threat posed by Saddam Monday

US President George W. Bush will deliver a prime-time speech Monday night on the threat posed by Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, US government officials said Friday.

US President George W. Bush will deliver a prime-time speech Monday night on the threat posed by Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, US government officials said Friday.

Bush will deliver the speech during his visit to Cincinnati,Ohio, an official said. He is to focus on the threat posed by Iraqand stress that time is running out for the Iraqi leader to complywith UN demands to disarm.

Bush wants US Congress to pass a resolution authorizing the useof military force against Iraq if Saddam refuses to comply with UNresolutions on disarmament.
