The Indonesian men's pair of Agus Salim and Koko Darkuncoro edged China's Li Hua and Zhao Chicheng 24-22, 24-22 in their semifinal Thursday and will meet Japan's Katsuhiro Shiratori and Satoshi Watanabe.
The Japanese pair defeated Indonesia's second team of Andy Ardiyansyah and Supriadi 21-14, 21-15 in the other semifinals.
Wang Lu and You Wenhui guaranteed a gold and silver finish for China in the women's event by defeating Ryoko Tokuno and Chiaki Kushuhara of Japan 21-14, 24-22.
Countrywomen Tian Jia and Wang Fei defeated Thailand's KamaltipKulna and Jarunee Sannok 21-16, 21-18 in the earlier semifinal.
The gold and bronze medal matches will be played Friday.
