Iraq exported 7.9 million barrels of oil in the week ending Sept. 27, showing a slight decrease over the previous week, the UN office running the "oil-for-food" program said Tuesday in a weekly update.

According to the UN Office of the Iraq Program, Baghdad earned an estimated 210 million US dollars in revenue last week, at an average price of 26.55 dollars per barrel.

With a persisting revenue shortfall accrued in earlier phases, over 1,300 approved humanitarian supply contracts worth more than 2.36 billion dollars are without funds, the office said.

The sectors affected worst by the revenue shortfall are food handling, agriculture, electricity, housing, water and sanitation, health, education, telecommunications and transportation, it said.
