Chinese Women Swimmer Sets Games Record in 200m Freestyle
Yang Yu of China set a new record of the Asian Games in women's 200 meter freestyle, lifting the oldmark by over one second Monday.

Yang Yu of China set a new record of the Asian Games in women's 200 meter freestyle, lifting the oldmark by over one second Monday.
The 17-year-old girl from
Zhejiang
province clocked one minute 58.43 seconds. Her teammate Xu Yanwei at lane three finished the second place in 1:59.42, also breaking the games old mark of 1:59.77.
Yang's success greatly promoted the morale of the Chinese swimming team. All the team members stood up to cheer for her.
