Chinese Premier Meets Vietnamese Prime Minister in Copenhagen

China and Vietnam have no problem that they cannot solve, said Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji at a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Phan Van Khai Sunday in Copenhagen.

China and Vietnam have no problem that they cannot solve, said Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji at a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Phan Van Khai Sunday in Copenhagen.

During the meeting on the sideline of the Fourth Asia-Europe summit which will open here Monday morning, Zhu and Phan exchanged views on further strengthening bilateral friendship and cooperation.

Zhu said that under the principle of building long-term, stable,future-oriented and good-neighborly friendship and overall cooperation, the momentum for the development of bilateral relations has been good.

The two sides are concentrating on modernization and they have many cooperation projects underway, added Zhu.

He pointed out that the two sides should cherish the long-term interests of the two peoples and properly handle problems that may arise from their cooperation so as to ensure their bilateral relations progress steadily.

Phan said leaders of the two countries have worked out a framework for the development of bilateral ties and their relevant government departments are actively implementing the consensus reached.

He went on to say that Vietnam is pleased with the sound development of bilateral cooperation in various fields, hoping that such cooperation will continue to advance.
