Leading television makers and officials from the China Chamber of Commerce have been discussing their next moves after the door into the lucrative EU market was opened.
The behind-closed-doors talks came after a lengthy battle to get the 15-year-long anti-dumping levies lifted.
Seven firms have been given the green light to sell their waresin European Union countries.
The companies, together with officials from the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), have been making detailed preparations to fulfill their undertakings after winning market access to EU member states.
The seven are Xiamen Overseas Chinese Electronic Co Ltd, Haier Electrical Appliances Corporation Ltd, Hisense Import&Export Co, Konka Group Co Ltd, Sichuan Changhong Electric Co Ltd, Skyworth Multimedia International (Shenzhen) Co Ltd and TCL King Electrical Appliances Co Ltd.
An official from the CCCME said the meeting had discussed how to share the quantities quotas among the seven television manufacturers and how to operate the undertaking in detail.
The major problem is not the quantity allocation, but co-ordination among the companies to act in accordance with EU regulations, he said. He refused to elaborate on the results of the meeting.
