Chinese Premier to Visit three European Nations, Attend int'l Meetings

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji will attend the Fourth Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit and the Fifth EU-China Summit held in Denmark.

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji will attend the Fourth Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit and the Fifth EU-China Summit held in Denmark.

Zhu will also pay official visits to Austria, Denmark and France at the invitation of Austrian Federal Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel, Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and FrenchPresident Jacques Chirac and Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan announced this at the regular press conference here Tuesday.
