9 People Killed when 17 Cars Collided at Russian Highway
9 people were killed and 11 were wounded as a result of a collision of 17 cars which took place on Wednesday morning at the 485th kilometre of the Brest-Moscow highway in the Krupsky district of the Minsk region.

According to the information provided to RIA Novosti in the Krupsky district police department, the collision was caused by the dense morning fog and smoke from burning peatbogs. About 8:20 Moscow time there collided 7 heavy and two light trucks, 6 passenger cars and two minibuses.
The traffic along the highway was stopped, the road is being cleared. Investigation was initiated. There were no Russian citizens among the dead and wounded people.
