DPRK Asks for Delay of Inter-Korean Red Cross Talks
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Tuesday asked for a delay of the inter-Korean Red Cross talks from Sept. 4-Sept. 6 to Sept. 6-Sept. 8, according to an official at the South Korean National Red Cross.

The DPRK's Red Cross made the request via a message delivered at the truce village of Panmunjom citing the reason of damage inflicted by Typhoon Rusa at the DPRK Mount Geumgang resort area, the venue for the talks, the official was quoted by the South Korean national news agency Yonhap News as saying.
The just-ended 15th typhoon of this season has hit the DPRK's Kangwon and Hwanghae Provinces with strong wind and heavy rains, the Korea Central News Agency of the DPRK was quoted by Yonhap as saying.
The fourth inter-Korean Red Cross meeting was fixed by the inter-Korean seventh ministerial talks on Aug. 12- Aug. 14 in Seoul, which will discuss the details of the forthcoming fifth reunions of separated families.
