Vietnamese Leaders Pay Tribute to Ho Chi Minh

Top Vietnamese Party and State leaders on August 30 paid a tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, laying flowers at his mausoleum on the occasion of the 57th anniversaries of the August Revolution and National Day.

Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, President Tran Duc Luong, Prime Minister Phan Van Khai and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An also laid a wreath at the Hanoi War Martyrs' Monument to those who sacrificed their lives for the national independence and freedom.

On the same day, delegations from the Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi People's Committee also paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.
