Vietnam's Founding Anniversary Marked in Beijing

The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the China-Vietnam Friendship Association held a reception Saturday in Beijing to mark the 57th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the China-Vietnam Friendship Association held a reception Saturday in Beijing to mark the 57th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Zhao Dongwan, president of the China-Vietnam Friendship Association, wished Vietnam great success in reform and opening-up.He expressed the belief that the Sino-Vietnamese friendship would develop further in the coming years.

Among those present at the reception were CPAFFC Vice-PresidentWang Yunze and Vietnamese Ambassador to China Bui Hong Phuc.
