China-Malaysia hi-tech and new products exhibition opened in Luala Lumpur Wednesday to the warm wellcome of hundreds of Malaysians from all works of life.

China-Malaysia hi-tech and new products exhibition opened in Luala Lumpur Wednesday to the warm wellcome of hundreds of Malaysians from all works of life.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Malaysian Minister of Science, Technology and Environment Law Hieng Ding said the exhibition provided the Malaysians with a good opportunity to know more about China's hi-tech and new products, thus promoting economic and trade ties between the two countries.

The strengthening of technical exchanges, expanding of cooperation and mutual investment in the science and technical sector would lift capability and boost economies of both countries, so as to bring in a win-win situation, he added.

Some one hundred Chinese and Malaysian enterprises have exhibited their hi-tech and new products at the exhibition which will last four days.

The varieties of exhibits cover the sectors of the biological engineering, computer software, information technology, agricultural hi-tech, petroleum chemical, environmental engineering and advanced materials.
