DPRK Economic Delegation Arrives in S.Korea
A delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to attend the second inter-Korean economic cooperation talks arrived in Seoul Tuesday.
A delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to attend the second inter-Korean economic cooperation talks arrived in Seoul Tuesday.
The delegation will discuss various issues with its South Korean delegation from Aug. 27-30.
The second inter-Korean economic talks is to cover such issues as reconnection of the inter-Korean railways and roads, construction of an industrial base in the DPRK city of Kaesong and joint anti-flood measures along the Imjin River, according to the joint statement released by the seventh inter-Korean ministerial talks held on Aug.12-14.
The second economic inter-Korean talks was put off one day from its original date at the request of DPRK side for the reason of flight schedule.
